Position Overview:
As part of the talented Navico Group - Power Solutions team, you will support batteries and energy storage systems for marine and RV applications. You will resolve product issues, work on product improvements, and support new product development.
This role requires strong system-level thinking, hands-on engineering capability, and the ability to collaborate across global teams.

Essential Functions:
- You will perform root cause analysis of battery failures, propose corrective actions, and document your findings.
- You will design and develop test fixtures for testing batteries and systems.
- You will collaborate with others across global teams encompassing engineering, marketing, sourcing, production, quality, and technical service.
- You will review product improvement proposals, develop test plans, and perform testing to ensure that the proposed changes are sound in design and thoroughly tested before being implemented.
- You will support both new product development and sustaining engineering activities.
- You will work directly with customers to incorporate voice of customer (VOC) into new product development.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree – Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years related experience in energy storage.
- Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Strong hands-on skills in a test lab environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with marine electrical products.
- Experience working with a global cross functional team.
- Simulation and modeling on batteries and systems.
- Familiar with the safe use of standard electrical test equipment such as:
- Digital multimeters and current probes
- Benchtop power supplies
- Oscilloscopes
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid office environment. Minimum of three days required in the office.
- Battery test lab
- Travel up to 15%
