Position summary
The Environmental Compliance Specialist II independently manages environmental compliance activities for an Article 7 high-voltage transmission line project in New York. This position serves as a trusted environmental resource to construction teams by interpreting permit requirements, identifying compliance risks and implementing practical solutions that support safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery.
Building upon the foundational skills developed as an Environmental Compliance Specialist I, this role requires sound professional judgment, growing technical expertise and the ability to independently manage routine environmental compliance responsibilities. Additionally, the role supports project success through mentoring junior staff and providing technical guidance.

- Independently manage environmental inspections, monitoring activities, and compliance assessments for assigned construction projects.
- Interpret permits, environmental plans and regulatory requirements while communicating compliance expectations to project teams.
