Job Description
- Responsible for the maintenance and adjustment of the offline, auxiliary bindery/finishing equipment and components
- Perform routine, scheduled maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, replacement of worn parts, adjusting belt tension, knife grinding, etc.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and submit orders for part as needed to ensure continuous operation of equipment
Qualifications
- General knowledge of small/light equipment and machines and the mechanical operation of equipment
- Requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical functioning of machinery serviced and ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and identify worn out parts
- Ability to understand electrical and mechanical schematics
- Ability to interpret instruction manuals
- Good knowledge of the tools and test equipment used in the diagnosis and repair of equipment service
