Equipment Maintenance Technician Jobs in Texas

As a Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the physical building structure and operational machinery by performing routine upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair.

Every day you will:

• Basic Equipment Support: Inspect and perform preventive maintenance such as routine lubrication, checking fluid/oil levels, cleaning external components, and logging basic equipment checks.

· Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC failures and completes effective repairs using hand and power tools.

• Facility Upkeep: Maintain the physical building structure and systems, including plumbing, drywall patching, painting, lighting replacements, overhead door adjustments, and exterior property checks. Basic woodworking and construction tasks may also be required.

· Documentation: Logs completed work orders, tracks parts usage, and updates maintenance schedules using computerized maintenance management software

What you bring to this role:

· Attention to detail

· Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams with proficiency with diagnostics instruments

· Adherence to safety standards

· Strong knowledge of basic mathematics

· Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving

· Ability to pass background check and drug screen

· High School diploma or GED: vocational or technical certification in a trade is preferred

· Hands on experience in building trades, manufacturing, or general maintenance.
