Hotel Chelsea is now hiring Food & Beverage Managers for our many venues including Cafe Chelsea, El Quijote, Teruko and Lobby Bar. We are looking for experienced hospitality professionals to join our team. We are currently focused on candidates with a minimum of two years of New York City restaurant management experience at fine-dining and casual fine-dining restaurants. Hotel Food & Beverage experience a huge plus, but not exclusively required.
Must be available nights & weekends.

About This Role
The Food & Beverage Manager actively leads by example, inspires, and teaches skills that will elevate the guest experience, their teams, their restaurant, and ultimately Sunday Hospitality as a company.
Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Works with the General Manager and management team to develop and execute strategies to achieve operational goals at the restaurant level
- Participates in weekly manager meetings
- Conducts pre-shift meetings
- Ensures the restaurant team delivers on SHG service standards; touches tables at every service to cultivate regulars
- Ensures consistent execution of food, beverage, service, and hospitality that aligns with SHG values
- Proactively manages prime costs in conjunction with the GM, with an eye on the daily & weekly projections and budgets
- Helps to creates a talent pipeline of lead FOH and BOH team members
- Ensures that operational and training standards are consistently followed and executed by the entire restaurant team
What You Bring
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a senior management position overseeing a full-service restaurant
- A passion for excellence in hospitality
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- NYC Food Protection Certificate (Food Handler’s) required
- Proficiency in a variety of technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and POS
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and digitally
- Ability to effectively solve and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and proactive attitude
- A solid track record of leading high-caliber service
- Flexible work schedules: the ability to work night, weekends, holidays, as business permits
- The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects, up to 50lbs
- Kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods of time
