Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee daily front and back-of-house operations, keep service moving, and create a welcoming experience for guests. You’ll support staff, oversee food preparation and production, and help maintain safe, efficient kitchen and dining operations. By coordinating teams and service standards, you'll help guests enjoy reliable hospitality while staff can work effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise shifts, support team management, and coordinate restaurant, kitchen, and food service operations.
- Coach and train staff; assist with interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing team development.
- Monitor food handling, food safety management, inventory control, and food preparation to support quality and safe practices.
- Oversee cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- Restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience; assistant manager experience and supervising experience are valuable.
- Demonstrated leadership, managerial communication, shift management, and team training skills.
- Knowledge of cooking, food production, kitchen management, and food safety; food preparation and kitchen experience are important.
- Familiarity with restaurant management, food service management, food management, hospitality management, or managing hospitality teams.
