Duties
- Supervise front- and back-of-house teams; coordinate shift management, serving, cooking, food production, and customer service.
- Support hiring and interviewing, staff training, team development, and clear managerial communication.
- Oversee food handling and food safety management, including safe preparation and kitchen practices.
- Monitor inventory control, cash handling, budgets, and profit and loss (P&L) analysis; use basic math and point-of-sale (POS) systems to support accurate operations.
- Help manage kitchen and restaurant workflows, resolve service issues, and maintain hospitality standards.
Experience
- Restaurant, food service, or food industry experience; assistant manager experience and supervising, team leadership, or management experience are relevant.
- Experience in restaurant, food service, hospitality, kitchen, or food management is useful. Backgrounds in quick service, fast food, casual dining, fine dining, catering, banquets, bars, or culinary settings are welcome.
- Familiarity with POS systems is helpful; Aloha POS and Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Skills in inventory, budgeting, food safety, cash handling, training, and team management are valuable. Hospitality or food service management experience is preferred.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
