Assistant General Manager — Southernside Brewing Co.
Southernside Brewing Co. is looking for an energetic, hands-on Assistant General Manager who loves people, thrives in a busy environment, and knows how to keep things positive while getting the job done.
Southernside isn’t your typical restaurant. We’re a high-energy brewery, restaurant, bar, event space, and neighborhood hangout. Between busy weekends, live music, sports, events, regulars, and a packed patio, there’s rarely a boring day.
What You’ll Do
- Help lead daily restaurant and bar operations
- Build strong relationships with staff, regulars, and guests
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate the FOH team
- Manage busy shifts and keep service running smoothly
- Help with scheduling, labor, inventory, cash controls, and checklists
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and service
- Support live music, events, large parties, and high-volume weekends
- Jump in wherever needed — this is a hands-on management role
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who is positive, dependable, organized, and comfortable leading a busy restaurant and bar. You should be able to hold people accountable while still creating a workplace where people enjoy coming to work.
Restaurant, bar, brewery, or hospitality management experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Nights, weekends, and event availability required
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
