Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at the Hyatt Place Colorado Springs Downtown. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during nighttime hours, providing exceptional guest relations, processing the night audit and setting the next day up for success. This position requires a blend of hospitality skills and strong customer service abilities to create a welcoming environment for our guests.
Duties
- Perform nightly audits of all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Complete front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing outstanding customer service.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift.
- Maintain communication with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and assist guests promptly.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing occupancy rates, revenue, and any discrepancies found during audits.
- Ensure the security of the hotel premises during overnight hours.
- Complete advance deposits, review guest reservation notes and ensure proper routing of charges.
- Complete other reasonable requests and tasks as assigned by leadership.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel night audit.
- Strong background in customer service with demonstrated guest relations skills.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- A passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in a hotel setting.
