Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow during all shifts
• Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold brand standards
• Oversee food preparation and food handling processes, ensuring quality and safety compliance
• Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
• Train staff on food safety procedures, customer service techniques, and operational protocols
• Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow
• Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a skilled hospitality team
• Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis; assist with budgeting efforts
• Enforce health and safety regulations related to food safety management and sanitation standards
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
• Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Solid understanding of inventory control, food safety standards, and food production processes
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment
• Strong communication skills for managerial communication, staff training, and customer interactions
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling, inventory counts, and financial analysis
• Experience in managing hospitality teams with a focus on team training & development and shift management
• Knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling procedures, and catering or banquet experience is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze profit & loss statements, and implement cost-control measures
