Position Summary
The HR Generalist supports both talent acquisition efforts and day-to-day HR operations for the Corporate Office. This role partners closely with the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager to execute recruiting strategies while providing tactical HR support to employees and leaders. The HR Generalist plays a critical role in ensuring a positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle, from candidate engagement through onboarding and ongoing HR support.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Execute recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support
- Manage ATS data and ensure a smooth, positive candidate experience
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and integration
HR Operations
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and leaders, including policy guidance and HR inquiries
- Assist with employee relations, benefits, and HR processes, escalating complex issues as needed
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Talent and HR Program Support
- Support performance management cycles, training initiatives, and employee development programs
- Assist with HR reporting, data tracking, and system updates (ATS/HRIS/LMS)
- Contribute to engagement initiatives and overall employee experience
Education & Experience Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in HR or talent acquisition, ideally within a corporate office environment
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
- Foundational understanding of HR policies, employee relations practices, and employment law
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-oriented approach to supporting employees and leaders

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, union contracts, and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, work independently, and keep confidentiality.
- Flexibility and availability to be onsite for off-shift HR support; occasional travel to other sites as needed.
