- Serve as the primary HR partner for employees and leaders at the Dalton location.
- Provide guidance and support related to employee relations, performance management, coaching, corrective action, and workplace concerns.
- Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding efforts in partnership with Talent Acquisition and business leaders.
- Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, personnel changes, and related HR documentation.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational needs, employee engagement, and retention.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company requirements.
- Assist with employee training, development, and HR-related communications.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Support leave, attendance, benefits, and other employee-related matters in coordination with appropriate internal partners.
- Build strong relationships across Operations, Production, leadership, and other support functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, communication, and the overall employee experience.
- Perform additional HR responsibilities and special projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive human resources experience, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, operations, or a similar hands-on environment.
- Prior HR leadership or HR Manager experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruiting, HR compliance, and general HR practices.
- Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations preferred.
- Strong communication, judgment, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Comfortable working independently while partnering closely with business and HR leadership.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
