Human Resources Associate Jobs in Irvine: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a human resources associate job in Irvine?
Targeting Irvine's dominant sectors gives you the clearest path in. Technology companies, life sciences firms, and financial services employers in the Irvine Spectrum and Irvine Business Complex hire human resources associates most consistently. Candidates who can demonstrate experience with high-volume recruiting, onboarding, or HRIS platforms stand out here, since Irvine employers tend to run lean HR teams that need generalists who can move fast and work independently.
Which companies hire human resources associates in Irvine?
Employers hiring human resources associates in Irvine right now include Henkel, Target, and Taxrise, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Irvine's employer mix skews toward mid-size and large corporations with established HR functions, including regional headquarters for national brands, growing biotech and medtech companies, and financial services firms with significant local headcount.
Are there remote human resources associate jobs in Irvine?
Yes, though availability depends on the function. Roles centered on policy administration, HRIS management, and benefits coordination tend to be the most remote-compatible, while positions focused on employee relations, onboarding, or facilities-tied HR generally require in-person presence. About 33% of human resources associate openings tied to Irvine are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with technology and financial services firms in Irvine Spectrum most likely to offer flexible arrangements.
How can I get a human resources associate job in Irvine with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Irvine is starting as an HR coordinator or HR assistant at one of the area's mid-size technology or life sciences companies, which tend to hire at the entry level more frequently than large enterprise employers. UCI and UCI Extension both have strong talent pipelines into Irvine employers, and completing an HRCI or SHRM foundation certificate sharpens your profile. Entry-level candidates who know a common HRIS platform such as Workday or ADP get a measurable edge in local screening.
