Bill Bowers A/C and Heating is looking for a motivated Residential HVAC SalesProject Manager to join our team. This is an opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships, presenting solutions, and closing business, but also wants to stay involved beyond the sale.
You'll work directly with homeowners to identify their HVAC needs, recommend solutions, and earn their business. From there, you'll help oversee sold projects, coordinate moving pieces, and maintain communication to ensure a positive customer experience through completion. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, enjoys seeing projects through, and is motivated by the opportunity to earn based on performance.
What You'll Do
- Meet with homeowners to assess HVAC needs and present appropriate system solutions.
- Conduct sales appointments, prepare proposals, explain options, and close residential HVAC projects.
- Build trust with customers through clear communication and a consultative sales approach.
- Oversee sold projects through completion, helping coordinate scheduling, equipment, installation teams, and other project details.
- Serve as a point of contact for customers throughout the project process, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns.
- Coordinate with internal teams to help keep projects organized and moving forward.
- Monitor project progress and help resolve issues that may affect timelines or customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer, sales, and project records.
What We're Looking For
- Proven success in sales, preferably in a home improvement, construction, remodeling, or other residential service industry
- Experience selling higher-ticket products or services through customer consultations and presentations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence presenting solutions, discussing pricing, and closing business
- Ability to manage multiple projects and follow through on details after the sale
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Comfortable coordinating with technicians, installers, office staff, and homeowners
- Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Compensation: On-target annual earnings of $150,000-$200,000; base + commission
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM, some evening or weekend availability may be needed to accommodate customer needs
