Job Overview:
Maintenance technicians will maintain production equipment and facilities at 3547 Meeting Street facility to ensure smooth operation of daily production. This position requires the PM shift and weekend evenings. PM shift tentatively starts at 2:30pm to 11pm. Schedule is still being worked on for this position.
Pay: This position starts at $23.00 per hour, this does not include the bonus program that occurs every four weeks for all employees. This program will be shared at your first interview. $$$$$$
Responsibilities:
· Assist production with equipment setup and alignment at the start of production cycles.
· Perform PM tasks for manufacturing equipment, pneumatic systems, HVAC and utilities to keep production equipment running reliably.
· Prepare materials, tools, consumables, and spare parts in advance to support scheduled PMs and shutdowns.
· Perform daily equipment checks and monitor production equipment performance.
· Monitor and maintain facility temperature and humidity control equipment to keep production area in desired conditions.
· Identify, analyze, and correct equipment errors and malfunctions both mechanical and electrical.
· Serve as a member of the emergency response team. Responding to alarms, system malfunctions, and hurricane readiness efforts.
· Track and record completed
· Change production equipment process parameters.
· Change production equipment hardware.
· Support facility construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
· Supervise contractors working at the facility.
· All other duties as required to support business needs.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Knowledge of industrial AC/DC electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
· Experience in maintaining industrial and facilities equipment.
· HVAC experience preferred.
· PLC/BUS system experience and/or education preferred.
· Siemens PLC logic knowledge preferred.
