Summit Insurance Group is looking for an energetic and experienced Insurance Agent to join our team. Our agents are responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing relationships while working with a variety of insurance carriers. Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person consultations with prospective clients in their homes
- Developing relationships with new and existing clients
- Collecting necessary information to prepare a proposal for submission to prospective clients
- Providing an effective sales presentation that appeals to the client’s particular needs
- Ability to answer questions about our products and services
- Ability to negotiate rates, terms and contracts from prospective clients
- Maintain effective working relationships with carriers, brokers, and other departments within the company.
- Maintain professional standards of conduct.
- Follow all policies and procedures established by the company.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the company manual.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Insurance agent or sales representative Minimum of 2 years of experience in the home office Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team environment under time deadlines ability to multitask ability to work in high stress environments (i.e., home office environment) ability to work nights & weekends ability to learn quickly ability to adapt & react quickly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
