The Role
As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a skilled IT Systems Engineer to support the growth of out US Technology team. In this role, you’ll provide Level 2/3 support and operational service delivery across IT and OT environments for internal users and customer sites. You will maintain the availability, performance, and security of core systems and networks through proactive monitoring, incident and problem resolution, routine administration, and well-managed change activities. You’ll go beyond day-to-day administration, applying your technical expertise to architect, deliver, and integrate technologies that underpin mission-critical energy and systems integration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support for servers, storage, networking and cloud services, including diagnosis, escalation and timely resolution.
- Administer and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V), including capacity monitoring, patching and lifecycle tasks.
- Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity measures (zero-trust, IAM, SIEM, malware/antivirus).
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership and clear documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar IT systems engineering role.
- Strong technical expertise in Windows, Linux server environments, enterprise networking, cloud platforms and virtualization.
- Solid understanding of security frameworks (IAM, SOC, SIEM, penetration testing).
- Experience integrating IT with OT systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (desirable).
