INTRODUCTION
LabCorp is seeking an IT Service Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule!
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Local Client facing IT Field Technician performs new installations, break/swap service to include: Install and troubleshoot HP Win11 Enterprise computers, HP monitors, HP laser printers, Symbol barcode scanners, Dymo and Monarch label printers to name a few. We do not troubleshoot to component level.
- Installing and troubleshooting preconfigured Cisco networking devices: Meraki VPN, WAPs, and patch panels to name a few. We do not run cabling.
- Responsible for ordering, maintaining local I.T. hardware inventory and RMA of devices.
- Connect/install/troubleshoot internet sources: ATT Nighthawks, Verizon Dragons, Cisco MG41/51 and Broadband modems.
- Installs proprietary software, schedules onsite installations with Clients.
- Learn proprietary software, train clients onsite and by Hosting Webex training sessions.
- Our clients are DR offices, Hospital Labs, LabCorp Patient Service Centers and internal employee support Operations.
- Familiar with Active Directory (adding/deleting/moving PC's), Service Now, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Webex, Teams, Helpdesk ticketing software, PeopleSoft and Webex.
- Proven multitasker, ability to maintain positive attitude and prioritize tasks in a busy and rapidly changing environment.
- Position typically comes with a company car, credit card, fuel card, cell phone and laptop.
- Your office is in Nashville; with some Work-from-Home opportunity.
- Approximate assigned Territory (from Nashville) upper Northern half of Tennessee. Subject to change.
- Must be results oriented and willing to travel outside your assigned area as needed.
- Overnight travel @ 10%.
- This is a client facing / IT Field Service Technician position.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to work from a ladder as needed.
- Supporting a variety of corporate and local IT projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- High school diploma.
- 1 or more years work experience in an IT support role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in Information Technology.
ADDITIONAL JOB STANDARDS:
- This is a client facing / field technician position.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work from a ladder as needed.
- Position typically comes with a company car, fuel card, company credit card, cell phone and laptop.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
