Responsibilities:
Provide IT support to remote clients, diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently.
Document all troubleshooting steps taken to resolve issues, ensuring clear and comprehensive records.
- Prepare and ship computers and other hardware directly to users
Maintain and optimize computer systems and network environments to ensure maximum performance and reliability.
Maintain Windows Desktop OS and Windows Server OS
Perform network administration tasks, including configuration and management of firewalls, switches, and Access Points.
Administer email systems, ensuring seamless communication channels for clients including Office 365 administration.
Administer user permissions including AD, Entra ID, SharePoint file permissions.
Create and maintain clear and organized IT documentation for reference and training purposes.
Provide weekend on-call support as needed, remaining available to respond to IT issues requiring timely attention outside of the regular Monday–Friday work schedule.
Requirements:
Proven experience in providing remote IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Experience in email administration, including configuration and maintenance of Office 365 environments.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Ability to be available for weekend on-call support and respond to IT issues requiring timely attention as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
