Junior Analyst Jobs in Oregon: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a junior analyst in Oregon?
Most junior analyst roles in Oregon require a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, or a related field, and no state license is required for the general role. Oregon employers typically hire recent graduates or career changers who can demonstrate analytical skills through coursework, internships, or project work. Employers in regulated sectors such as financial services may prefer candidates who hold or are pursuing a CFA or similar professional credential, but it is rarely a hard requirement at the junior level.
Which companies hire junior analysts in Oregon?
Oregon junior analyst roles are posted by Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Canyon Creek Financial, and Pacific Office Automation and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Oregon's mix of large healthcare systems, technology companies, and state government agencies means junior analyst openings appear across a broad range of industries and employer types throughout the year.
Which Oregon cities have the most junior analyst jobs?
Portland, Medford, and Salem have the most junior analyst openings in Oregon. Portland drives the largest share of postings given its concentration of corporate headquarters, healthcare networks, and technology firms, while Salem generates consistent demand from state government agencies and public-sector contractors, and Eugene adds openings tied to the University of Oregon and regional healthcare and financial institutions.
Are there remote junior analyst jobs in Oregon?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 64% of junior analyst openings tied to Oregon are remote or hybrid as of October 2026, reflecting that the core work, including data analysis, reporting, and modeling, is well suited to remote delivery. Roles that involve stakeholder presentations or cross-functional collaboration are more commonly hybrid rather than fully remote.
How can I get hired as a junior analyst in Oregon with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to internship or rotational programs at large Oregon employers such as Nike, Oregon Health and Science University, or Cambia Health Solutions, which regularly bring on new graduates for structured analyst development tracks. Candidates who can present a portfolio of analytical work, even from coursework or personal projects using public Oregon datasets, stand out in screening. Moving laterally from adjacent roles such as data entry specialist, operations coordinator, or reporting assistant at an Oregon employer is another common route into a junior analyst title.
Where can I find and apply to junior analyst jobs in Oregon?
You can find and apply to junior analyst jobs in Oregon on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers across the state. Search the listings, find roles that match your background and location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
