Location: On-site in Coburg, OR or Elkhart, IN
Do you enjoy solving problems, keeping things moving, and working with teams across an organization? We're looking for a Logistics & Freight Coordinator to help manage the flow of products across the country and around the world.
In this role, you'll support our Distribution, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams by coordinating domestic and international shipments, working with carriers and vendors, tracking freight, ensuring compliance with import/export requirements, and identifying ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate domestic and international inbound and outbound shipments
- Track freight and resolve delivery issues
- Work with vendors, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
- Support customs compliance activities including HTS classification review, country of origin verification, and duty/tariff management
- Negotiate and monitor carrier contracts, lane rates, and performance of LTL carrier base
- Prepare shipping and import/export documentation
- Audit freight invoices and monitor transportation costs
- Support purchasing and warehouse operations
- Analyze logistics data and recommend process improvements
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management, including international container procurement, global ship-line knowledge, customs clearance, LTL business operations, and general logistics marketplace knowledge
- Knowledge of LTL, FTL, intermodal, and containerized shipping
- Familiarity with customs procedures and international trade documentation
- Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed to support meetings across international time zones
- Exceptional customer service in written and verbal expression
- Experience in data analytics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
- Proven skills in project management
- Experience in negotiations
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
