Marketing Manager Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing manager in New Hampshire?
Marketing manager is not a licensed profession in New Hampshire, so there is no state board exam or registration required. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, along with progressive experience in marketing roles. Certifications from platforms like Google, HubSpot, or the American Marketing Association strengthen a candidate's profile and are increasingly referenced in New Hampshire job postings.
How much do marketing managers make in New Hampshire?
Marketing managers in New Hampshire earn a median of about $143,280 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $96,990 for the lowest 10% to over $229,920 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing managers in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire marketing manager roles are posted by Amphenol, Allegro MicroSystems, and Laborie and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The state's mix of technology firms, healthcare networks, and financial services companies creates steady demand across both B2B and B2C marketing functions.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most marketing manager jobs?
Nashua, Manchester, and Portsmouth account for the largest share of marketing manager openings in New Hampshire. Manchester and Nashua drive most of that volume as the state's primary commercial and corporate hubs, with large employers in healthcare, insurance, and software headquartered there, while Concord adds openings tied to state government, healthcare administration, and regional nonprofit organizations.
Are there remote marketing manager jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most fields. Marketing work is largely desk-based and highly compatible with remote arrangements. About 50% of marketing manager openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broader industry norms. Roles focused on content strategy, digital advertising, and marketing analytics tend to have the most remote flexibility, while positions tied to events or in-person brand activation are more likely to require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a marketing manager in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving up from a coordinator or specialist role within a New Hampshire employer rather than applying to manager positions from outside the field. Healthcare systems like Dartmouth Health and technology companies in the Manchester-Nashua corridor routinely hire marketing coordinators and digital marketing associates as entry points. Building a portfolio through contract projects, internships at New Hampshire's many small and mid-size businesses, or completing a recognized certification such as the American Marketing Association's Professional Certified Marketer credential gives candidates a concrete edge when making the case for a first management role.
Where can I find and apply to marketing manager jobs in New Hampshire?
You can find and apply to marketing manager jobs in New Hampshire on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your experience and preferred location or work arrangement, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
