Marketing Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing manager in Florida?
Marketing manager roles in Florida do not require a state-issued license, but employers consistently expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business, often paired with several years of progressive marketing experience. Florida's competitive markets, particularly in Miami, Tampa, and Orlando, favor candidates who can show hands-on experience with digital channels, brand management, or campaign analytics. Professional certifications such as Google Ads, HubSpot, or the American Marketing Association's PCM designation strengthen applications considerably.
How much do marketing managers make in Florida?
Marketing managers in Florida earn a median of about $142,620 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $78,250 for the lowest 10% to over $261,310 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing managers in Florida?
Employers hiring marketing managers in Florida right now include Trivium, AutoNation, and Hilton Grand Vacations, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's mix of large hospitality brands, regional healthcare systems, and growing technology companies means marketing manager demand is spread across multiple industries rather than concentrated in one sector.
Which Florida cities have the most marketing manager jobs?
Miami, Orlando, and Tampa have the most marketing manager openings in Florida. Miami's concentration of multinational brands, financial services firms, and a strong hospitality sector drives the largest share of postings, while Tampa's growth in healthcare, finance, and technology and Orlando's tourism and entertainment anchors generate consistent demand across both metros and their surrounding suburban corridors.
Are there remote marketing manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields. Marketing manager work is largely desk-based and strategy-driven, which makes it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 56% of marketing manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly the role has adapted to flexible work. Digital marketing, content strategy, and demand generation subspecialties tend to carry the highest share of fully remote postings.
How can I get hired as a marketing manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a marketing coordinator or specialist role first and building toward management from there. Large Florida employers such as AdventHealth, Darden Restaurants, and Universal Orlando frequently recruit marketing coordinators and associates who can grow into manager-level positions. Roles in social media, email marketing, or marketing analytics are common lateral moves that develop the skills employers expect at the manager level. A portfolio demonstrating campaign results, combined with a HubSpot or Google certification, gives candidates without formal management experience a concrete edge in Florida's hiring market.
Where can I find and apply to marketing manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to marketing manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers actively hiring across the state. Search the listings, find roles that match your background and target location, and apply directly to the employers that fit.
