Maryland employers, particularly those in federal contracting and healthcare around Baltimore and the DC suburbs, prioritize candidates who have hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems. Building proficiency in tools like Marketo, HubSpot, or Salesforce and earning vendor certifications strengthens candidacy considerably.
How much do marketing operations managers make in Maryland?
Marketing operations managers in Maryland earn a median of about $154,160 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $82,830 for the lowest 10% to over $256,260 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing operations managers in Maryland?
Maryland marketing operations manager roles are posted by GEICO, Thales, and NinjaOne and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Maryland's mix of federal contractors, major health systems, and financial services firms creates consistent year-round demand for marketing operations professionals across the state.
Which Maryland cities have the most marketing operations manager jobs?
Bethesda, Bel Air, and Abingdon have the most marketing operations manager openings in Maryland. Baltimore anchors demand through its large healthcare systems and financial institutions, while Bethesda and Rockville draw heavily from the concentration of federal contractors, technology firms, and healthcare organizations clustered along the I-270 corridor in Montgomery County.
Are there remote marketing operations manager jobs in Maryland?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of marketing operations manager openings tied to Maryland are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how thoroughly this role relies on digital platforms and data tools rather than on-site presence.
