The Media Strategy & Commercial Engagement will lead the strategic design and evolution of next-generation media and engagement capabilities across the Specialty Care portfolio in North America.
Reporting to the Head of Specialty Care Strategy and Operations, North America this role will define the strategic pathway that enables the organization to evolve from today’s traditional media operating model toward a future shaped by integrated customer intelligence, data-driven decision making, AI-enabled capabilities, and a modern partner ecosystem.
This role combines strategic architecture, ecosystem development, and enterprise leadership, ensuring that emerging capabilities translate into scalable ways of working across the organization while enabling Specialty Care to continuously evolve how it engages healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
The successful candidate will be a strategic architect and influential collaborator capable of shaping the future of customer engagement within Specialty Care.

Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SPC Strategy and Customer Engagement Transformation and key stakeholders to refine the vision and strategic direction for how media, customer intelligence, and emerging technologies will transform engagement for Specialty Care with a view to scaling to other business units.
- Architect and evolve the strategic partner ecosystem that enables next-generation media and engagement capabilities, including leading the strategy and execution of RFP processes to identify and select agency and technology partners.
- Establish and orchestrate strategic partnerships, working collaboratively to develop and evolve a multi-year roadmap that advances engagement capabilities and organizational adoption over time.
- Partner closely with Digital, Analytics, and GTMC to shape how customer intelligence, data infrastructure, and emerging technologies enable more intelligent and adaptive engagement strategies.
- Integrate insights from across the customer ecosystem including marketing engagement, patient services, digital behavior, and commercial data to inform more precise and insight-driven media strategies, and recommend ways for this capability to converge.
- Guide the evolution of how commercial teams plan, activate, and optimize media and engagement strategies as new capabilities and technologies are introduced.
- Build alignment across commercial, medical, analytics, Digital, and GTMC teams to support the adoption of new engagement approaches and ways of working including evidence and other types of content generation, AI engagement tools and other emerging solutions.
- Drive organizational progress by navigating complex stakeholder environments and establishing a performance intelligence capability that connects engagement activities to meaningful commercial and customer outcomes, enabling continuous learning and optimization.
About You
Qualifications
- 12 years experience in media strategy, digital engagement, commercial innovation, data-driven marketing, or large-scale capability transformation within healthcare or related industries.
- Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred
- Deep understanding of evolving media and marketing ecosystems, including data-driven engagement, analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Experience operating across complex organizations and leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to translate emerging capabilities in data, AI, and technology into practical engagement strategies.
- Experience working with agency, platform, and technology partner ecosystems.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to influence organizational change and align stakeholders around a shared vision.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across complex organizational environments.
