Mendful Minds Wellness Center is a growing outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults. Our services include medication management, ADHD evaluations and treatment, and care for a variety of mental health conditions.

We are seeking an experienced, dependable Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team on a part-time basis.

This opportunity is ideal for a provider who values flexibility, enjoys clinical autonomy, and is confident managing an outpatient mental health caseload independently.

Position Overview

The PMHNP will provide outpatient mental health care through a combination of telehealth and in-person appointments at our Williamstown, NJ location.

We are looking for a provider with strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with our team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments.
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and related conditions.
• Provide medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Conduct comprehensive ADHD evaluations and manage stimulant and non-stimulant medications when clinically appropriate.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Manage an outpatient caseload independently while adhering to clinical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Active DEA registration and appropriate New Jersey controlled substance prescribing authority, or ability to obtain before starting.
• Experience managing general outpatient mental health conditions and ADHD.
• Comfortable providing both telehealth and in-person care.
• Strong clinical decision-making and independent practice skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred:

• At least one year of outpatient psychiatric prescribing experience.
• Experience treating adolescent and adult populations.
• Experience conducting ADHD evaluations and managing stimulant medications.
• Familiarity with electronic health records.

Schedule & Availability

• Part-time position with flexible weekday scheduling.
• Seeking providers with morning, afternoon, and/or evening availability.
• Hybrid position with both telehealth and in-person appointments.
• In-person availability at our Williamstown, NJ office is required.
• Schedule determined based on provider availability and practice needs.
