Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing behavioral health team. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you'll provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning through onsite services in Asbury Park and telehealth appointments. You'll collaborate with therapists, social workers, and a supervising psychiatrist to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Compensation

• Initial Psychiatric Evaluations: $60-$90 per visit
• Follow-Up Medication Management Visits: $35-$60 per visit

Compensation is based on experience, credentials, qualifications, and clinical expertise.

What You'll Do

Psychiatric Assessment & Treatment

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments
• Diagnose behavioral health conditions using DSM-5-TR criteria
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe, manage, and monitor psychiatric medications
• Conduct risk assessments and crisis evaluations when clinically indicated
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Patient Education & Support

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
• Support patient engagement and treatment adherence
• Provide therapeutic interventions within scope of practice

Collaboration & Care Coordination

• Collaborate with therapists, social workers, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
• Participate in case consultations and treatment planning discussions
• Coordinate referrals and support continuity of care

Documentation & Compliance

• Complete timely and accurate documentation within the EMR
• Follow organizational policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulations
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and professional practice standards

Qualifications

Required

• Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
• Active New Jersey RN License
• Active New Jersey APRN License
• Board Certification as a PMHNP-BC
• Active DEA Registration with prescriptive authority

Preferred

• Experience in outpatient behavioral health settings
• Telehealth experience
• Experience serving diverse patient populations
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
