Ryan’s Aging Care Services LLC is a growing, privately owned home care agency seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical operations.
We are looking for a strong nursing leader who understands private-duty home care, enjoys developing clinical programs, and is passionate about delivering exceptional care to seniors.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization expanding its traditional home care, Flex Care, and care management programs throughout Northern Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Oversight
- Oversee nursing and clinical operations.
- Supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs.
- Conduct initial client assessments and reassessments.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with Virginia Department of Health regulations.
- Conduct supervisory visits and clinical competency evaluations.
- Monitor quality of care and client satisfaction.
- Oversee clinical documentation and incident reporting.
Staff Development & Training
- Provide clinical education and training to caregivers.
- Support recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of nursing personnel.
- Evaluate employee clinical performance.
- Ensure staff follow company policies and procedures.
Care Management & Flex Care Programs
- Provide clinical oversight for our growing Flex Care programs in senior living communities.
- Collaborate with care managers, physicians, families, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in complex care planning and hospital-to-home transitions.
- Assist with the development and expansion of clinical programs.
- Work closely with the leadership team to support business growth.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Review documentation through WellSky Personal Care.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Attend leadership meetings.
- Participate in scheduled on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active, unrestricted Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel throughout Northern Virginia.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
