P C Insurance Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a p c insurance in New York?
To work in p c insurance in New York, you must obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license issued by the New York State Department of Financial Services. The process involves completing a state-approved pre-licensing education course, passing the New York Property and Casualty licensing exam, and submitting an application through the DFS. Most employers also expect a background in business, finance, or risk management, and many entry-level roles are available to candidates who hold the license without prior experience.
Which companies hire p c insurances in New York?
Employers hiring p c insurances in New York right now include USI Insurance Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Which New York cities have the most p c insurance jobs?

New York City dominates because it is headquarters or major operational hub for some of the largest carriers and brokerages in the world, while cities like White Plains and Buffalo draw significant hiring from regional offices and claims centers that serve upstate and suburban commercial accounts.
