Key responsibilities include:

- Provide guidance to managers regarding company policies, employment practices, and HR compliance.
- Lead and support investigations while ensuring concerns are handled objectively, consistently, professionally, and timely.
- Support recruiting and retention efforts for hourly, supervisory, management, and leadership positions.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation to ensure new Team Members and leaders receive a welcoming and organized introduction to the company.
- Support performance review processes, goal setting, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Coordinate and support training initiatives, safety programs, employee engagement, recognition, and retention efforts.
- Partner with leadership on attendance, leave administration, workers' compensation, accommodations, and other employee matters.
- Maintain accurate employee documentation and ensure HR records and practices meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor HR trends and identify opportunities to improve engagement, communication, retention, and operational effectiveness.
- Maintain a visible HR presence throughout the operation and build strong relationships with Team Members at all levels.
- Assist with benefits communication, HR systems, reporting, audits, and other HR initiatives.
- Support company-wide HR projects and initiatives as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Human Resources management experience required; hotel, resort, hospitality, or other high-volume service industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and federal, state, and local employment practices.
- Experience handling workplace investigations, corrective actions, performance management, and sensitive employee matters.
- Strong recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee engagement experience.
- Ability to coach and influence managers while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working directly with both hourly Team Members and senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
The Right Person for This Role
You are someone who understands that hospitality HR happens in the operation, not only behind a desk. You are approachable and supportive while still holding leaders and Team Members accountable to company expectations.
You enjoy building relationships, solving problems, developing leaders, improving processes, and helping create a workplace where Team Members feel welcomed, respected, informed, and supported.
Why Join Paramount Hospitality Management?
Join a growing hospitality organization where Human Resources plays an important role in supporting our people, our leaders, and our properties. You'll have the opportunity to make an impact across employee relations, talent acquisition, training, engagement, compliance, and organizational development while partnering closely with hotel leadership.

People Operations Manager Jobs in Orlando: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a people operations manager job in Orlando?
Focus your search on Orlando's largest employment sectors: hospitality and entertainment, healthcare systems, and professional services firms. Roles concentrate downtown, along International Drive, and in the Lake Nona medical district. Candidates with experience in high-volume hiring, HRIS administration, or multi-site employee relations stand out locally. Tailoring your resume to the sector, whether theme park operations or a health system, gives you a meaningful edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire people operations managers in Orlando?
Companies currently hiring people operations managers in Orlando include TERREPOWER, Live Nation, and OPAV, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Orlando's employer mix skews toward large hospitality operators, regional health systems, and a growing base of tech and professional services firms, all of which maintain active people operations functions.
Are there remote people operations manager jobs in Orlando?
Yes, though with limits: people operations manager work is partially remote-friendly for strategic and analytical tasks, but employee relations, onboarding, and compliance work often requires on-site presence. About 100% of people operations manager openings tied to Orlando are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting a market that values flexibility for desk-based functions. Compensation analytics, policy development, and HRIS management are the functions most frequently offered remotely by Orlando employers.
How can I get a people operations manager job in Orlando with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Orlando is moving up through an HR coordinator or HR generalist role at one of the city's large hospitality, healthcare, or business services employers, many of whom promote from within. Orlando's theme park operators and health systems run structured HR development programs that build the operational and compliance experience hiring managers expect at the manager level. Earning a SHRM-CP credential while in a coordinator role signals readiness and is a common differentiator among Orlando candidates making that move.
