Job Summary
To manage the production and quality control of chemical admixtures.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain production goals
- Perform QC related sampling and testing of raw materials and finished products
- Verify that laboratory equipment is calibrated regularly and maintain calibration records
- Maintain the requirements of the various DOTs for finished product approval status
- Direct the Production Supervisor and Laborers in day to day operations
- Be cross-trained to perform Plant Manager related responsibilities including all logistics related duties
- Coordinate and perform as necessary the various production related duties including the receipt of the raw materials
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma
- 3+ years quality management in a production environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- SAP knowledge a plus
- Bilingual a plus
Working Conditions
- Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
- Must wear protective equipment while at the location
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
