Pricing Manager Jobs in Tennessee: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a pricing manager in Tennessee?
The most direct path is earning a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics and building several years of experience in pricing analysis, financial planning, or revenue operations before moving into management. Tennessee does not require a state-issued license to work as a pricing manager. Employers across Nashville, Memphis, and Knoxville commonly hire from within, so starting in a pricing analyst or financial analyst role at a large Tennessee-based manufacturer, healthcare system, or retailer is a practical entry point.
Which companies hire pricing managers in Tennessee?
Employers hiring pricing managers in Tennessee right now include Eastman Chemical, AmSurg, and CVS Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Tennessee's strong healthcare, logistics, and consumer goods sectors mean pricing roles here often focus on contract pricing, freight rate management, or retail margin strategy.
Which Tennessee cities have the most pricing manager jobs?
Nashville, Kingsport, and Tennessee are the Tennessee cities with the most pricing manager openings. Nashville drives the largest share of demand due to its concentration of healthcare headquarters, corporate offices, and growing tech and retail companies, while Memphis activity reflects its dominant logistics, distribution, and supply chain industry base and Knoxville draws on its manufacturing and energy sector employers.
Are there remote pricing manager jobs in Tennessee?
Yes, and more than most fields, since pricing management is an analytical and strategic desk role with few on-site requirements. About 67% of pricing manager openings tied to Tennessee are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting broader corporate flexibility in finance and strategy functions. Roles focused on competitive analysis, subscription pricing, and financial modeling tend to be the most consistently remote-eligible.
How can I get hired as a pricing manager in Tennessee with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a pricing analyst or financial analyst role at a large Tennessee employer and building toward management from there. HCA Healthcare and FedEx both run structured rotational or development programs that place early-career candidates in analytical finance and revenue operations roles. A background in supply chain coordination, sales operations, or retail buying at Tennessee-based consumer goods or distribution companies also provides a credible lateral move. Earning a certification such as the Certified Pricing Professional credential demonstrates seriousness to hiring managers and can offset limited direct experience.
Where can I find and apply to pricing manager jobs in Tennessee?
You can find and apply to pricing manager jobs in Tennessee on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to the state. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly to the ones that match.
