What we do
Adaptive is a vertical AI company of 50, building the agentic operating system for the $2 trillion U.S. construction industry. We work with over 1,000 customers, partner with over 50 accounting firms, and have raised $26m from Emergence, a16z, and other top funds.
Why join us?
Win a massive category that's up for grabs. Construction is among the least digitized industries left, and no AI king has been crowned. With our momentum, team, and backing, we are in position to be that company.
Build a moat that compounds. We orchestrate multi-stakeholder workflows across an industry that today runs on paper, email, and phone calls. Every process we manage generates data no one else has. That data makes each new use case easier to expand to, while building a compounding moat.
Work with the rare team that can pull this off. Winning here takes deep construction knowledge and deep AI fluency in the same room. That intersection is rare, and we have it with backgrounds across finance, technology, and construction.
Serve the people building the world around you. Your favorite local café. The new house on the corner. The massive new skyscraper at Central Park South. All built by our customers: skilled, creative people who have spent their lives bringing neighborhoods to life.

Product Designer Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a product designer in New York?
Product design carries no state-issued license in New York, so the path centers on education and portfolio. Most New York employers expect a bachelor's degree in interaction design, graphic design, or human-computer interaction, though strong bootcamp graduates with demonstrable portfolios are hired at smaller studios and startups. Building experience through internships at New York agencies or tech companies and contributing to real product work before applying full-time is the most reliable route into the field.
Which companies hire product designers in New York?
Employers hiring product designers in New York right now include Victoria's Secret, Walmart, and Ralph Lauren, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's concentration of fintech, media, and enterprise software companies means openings appear across a wide range of industries beyond pure tech.
Which New York cities have the most product designer jobs?
New York, New York City, and Harrison have the most product designer openings in New York. Manhattan drives the majority of listings given its density of tech headquarters, financial institutions, and advertising agencies, while Brooklyn has grown as a hub for consumer product startups and design studios, and any listings outside the city typically reflect large corporate campuses or regional offices of companies headquartered in New York City.
Are there remote product designer jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 32% of product designer openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the screen-based, collaborative nature of the work. Fully remote roles tend to appear most often at software companies and startups, while large financial services and media firms generally prefer hybrid arrangements with regular in-office presence for design critiques and stakeholder sessions.
How can I get hired as a product designer in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an associate or junior designer role at a New York agency or mid-size product company, where generalist work and direct mentorship are common. Large New York employers such as Google and Bloomberg run structured internship and new-graduate programs that feed into full-time offers. Candidates moving from adjacent roles such as graphic designer, UX researcher, or front-end developer have a clear case to make, and a focused portfolio of two to three self-initiated or volunteer projects strengthens any application significantly.
Where can I find and apply to product designer jobs in New York?
