Product Manager Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a product manager in New Hampshire?
Product management has no state-issued license or registration requirement in New Hampshire. Most employers look for a bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, followed by experience in a related role such as business analyst, project coordinator, or software developer. Earning a widely recognized credential like the Pragmatic Institute certification or a CSPO designation strengthens your candidacy, and New Hampshire's technology and healthcare employers frequently promote from adjacent internal roles.
How much do product managers make in New Hampshire?
Product managers in New Hampshire earn a median of about $143,280 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $96,990 for the lowest 10% to over $229,920 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire product managers in New Hampshire?
Companies currently hiring product managers in New Hampshire include Amphenol, BAE Systems USA, and Connection, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's mix of defense contractors, regional health systems, and fintech and software firms creates consistent product manager demand well beyond the state's largest cities.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most product manager jobs?
Nashua, Merrimack, and Portsmouth have the most product manager openings in New Hampshire. Manchester and Nashua drive most of the volume as the state's largest metro corridor, where technology companies, financial services firms, and healthcare networks are concentrated, while Concord adds openings through state government agencies and regional health institutions headquartered there.
Are there remote product manager jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 59% of product manager openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how naturally suited the role is to distributed work. The most fully remote openings tend to be in enterprise software and digital product roles, while defense and regulated healthcare positions are more likely to require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a product manager in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into product management from a closely adjacent role such as business analyst, QA engineer, or technical project coordinator. Large New Hampshire technology and healthcare employers regularly post associate product manager or product coordinator roles that welcome candidates without direct PM experience. Building a portfolio of case studies, contributing to open-source product decisions, or completing a structured PM certification strengthens your application when experience is limited.
