Friendly Candle
Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Location: 1160 Corrugated Way, Columbus, Ohio
Friendly Candle is looking for a dependable, hardworking Candle Pourer to join our warehouse team. The primary responsibility of this position is pouring candles, but this person will also be trained in the other steps of our production process, including candle assembly, labeling, packing, and general warehouse work.
We manufacture candles for our own brands as well as other companies. Our production environment is active and fast-paced, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, follows instructions carefully, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work.
Primary responsibilities:
- Preparing wax and fragrance for production
- Operating candle-pouring equipment
- Pouring candles accurately and consistently
- Monitoring wax temperatures and fill levels
- Following production specifications for different candle styles and fragrances
- Keeping the pouring area clean, safe, and organized
Additional production responsibilities:
- Preparing and wicking candle vessels
- Finishing completed candles
- Applying labels and assembling packaging
- Packing candles for storage or shipment
- Moving supplies, cases, and production materials
- Assisting with other warehouse and production tasks as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks
- Able to follow instructions and established processes
- Comfortable standing for most of the workday
- Able to bend, reach, and lift boxes or materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working around warm wax, fragrance oils, and candle-making equipment
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Previous production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay and benefits:
- $18.00 per hour
