ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support commercial HVAC and plumbing project teams in Phoenix, AZ. This position will support estimating, preconstruction planning, document coordination, and project setup activities for commercial mechanical construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in commercial construction, project management, or estimating within the mechanical contracting industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Preconstruction Manager with day-to-day coordination activities
- Organize and maintain project documentation, drawings, bid packages, and specifications
- Support estimating and preconstruction teams with administrative and coordination tasks
- Assist with bid tracking, subcontractor/vendor communication, and document distribution
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and project-related communications
- Maintain accurate project files and data entry within company systems
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and project reports
- Review and organize construction drawings and specifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in construction, project coordination, administration, or related fields
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
- Basic understanding of construction documents and project workflows is preferred
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction software is a plus
