INTRODUCTION
We are looking for a resourceful, highly organized, and energetic Social Commerce Project Coordinator to support the TikTok Shop team at Sunny Health & Fitness. This is a dynamic, cross-functional role with no two days alike — one week you're pulling campaign performance reports, the next you're coordinating a creator event at our office or coordinating tradeshow operations for the brand. If you're someone who thrives in variety, takes initiative without being asked, and can seamlessly shift between strategic support and hands-on execution, this role was built for you.
Responsibilities
Special Projects & Events:
- Plan and execute creator events hosted at the Sunny Health & Fitness office.
- Coordinate brand presence at external events and tradeshows — booth setup, product display, brand materials, and on-site execution.
- Manage event logistics end-to-end: venue, scheduling, invitations, product prep, equipment, and post-event recap.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact during events, ensuring smooth operations and a strong brand experience.
- Identify new event and activation opportunities that drive creator relationships and brand awareness.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, design, logistics) to ensure all event assets and materials are ready on time.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Own weekly and monthly performance reporting for the TikTok Shop team — GMV, channel breakdown, top SKUs, affiliate performance, LIVE metrics, and content performance.
- Build and maintain tracking dashboards and reports in Excel or Google Sheets for ongoing visibility into key KPIs.
- Pull and organize data from TikTok Shop Seller Center, TikTok Analytics, and other platform tools.
- Prepare clean, executive-ready summaries and presentations for internal leadership and team reviews.
- Track competitor activity, content trends, and market benchmarks and surface insights to the team regularly.
Campaign Support:
- Support campaign planning and execution across TikTok Shop promotional events — Deal For You Days, flash sales, platform campaigns, and seasonal pushes.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with the creator, LIVE, and social media teams to align campaign timelines and deliverables.
- Assist with campaign asset coordination — ensuring product listings, creative materials, pricing, and promotional setups are completed ahead of deadlines.
- Monitor campaign performance in real time and flag issues or opportunities to the team.
- Support post-campaign analysis and recaps with structured reporting and key takeaways.
General Support:
- Take on ad hoc research projects — market analysis, competitor benchmarking, product research.
- Be the connective tissue of the team — proactively identifying gaps and filling them before being asked.

Project Coordinator Jobs in California: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a project coordinator in California?
Most California employers expect a bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, information systems, or a closely related field. California does not require a state-issued license for project coordinators in most industries, though construction project coordinators working on public works projects should be familiar with California contractor licensing requirements enforced by the Contractors State License Board. Earning a Certified Associate in Project Management credential strengthens your candidacy and is widely recognized by California technology and healthcare employers.
How much do project coordinators make in California?
Project coordinators in California earn a median of about $120,910 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $69,180 for the lowest 10% to over $188,560 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire project coordinators in California?
Employers hiring project coordinators in California right now include University of California - San Francisco, California State University, and HDR, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. California's concentration of technology headquarters, large integrated health systems, and major defense contractors makes it one of the most varied markets for project coordination roles in the country.
Which California cities have the most project coordinator jobs?
Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego have the most project coordinator openings in California. The distribution reflects where the state's largest employers are headquartered or operate at scale, with the Bay Area's technology sector and Los Angeles's entertainment and healthcare industries driving volume, while San Diego's defense and biotech presence supports strong demand in the region's southern corridor.
Are there remote project coordinator jobs in California?
Yes, and more than many fields. About 20% of project coordinator openings tied to California are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how much of the coordination work involves scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communication that translates well to distributed teams. Technology and software companies in California have been the most consistent source of fully remote project coordinator roles.
How can I get hired as a project coordinator in California with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a coordinator or project assistant role within a larger organization that runs formal onboarding programs, particularly in California's technology and healthcare sectors. Kaiser Permanente, UC Health system campuses, and major Bay Area technology firms regularly hire project assistants and administrative coordinators as stepping stones. Candidates who come from adjacent roles such as office manager, executive assistant, or operations analyst are consistently competitive. Earning a Certified Associate in Project Management before applying gives entry-level candidates a concrete credential to counter limited work history.
Where can I find and apply to project coordinator jobs in California?
You can find and apply to project coordinator jobs in California on Migrate Mate, which lists current California openings across industries and experience levels. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly without creating a profile or signing up.
