Job Summary

Responsible for assigned installed sales projects from the signed contract through the final financial and administrative closeout. Projects primarily include replacement windows, entry and patio doors, storm doors, trim, and related repairs, but will periodically include other building materials and products the division installs, such as decking and siding. This position verifies measurements and product orders, confirms job readiness, coordinates with the scheduling team, leads assigned installers, and serves as the homeowner’s primary contact. The Installed Sales Project Manager is accountable for installation quality, timely completion, customer experience, and responsible management of quoted labor and project costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Ownership

• Own each assigned project from contract handoff through closeout.
• Review scope, materials, quoted labor, site conditions, and milestones.
• Maintain accurate project status and records in Live Edge.
• Anticipate obstacles and follow through until resolved.

Measurements & Order Accuracy

• Perform and verify field measurements.
• Review order acknowledgments against the approved quote and field conditions before release.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies before special-order materials are built.

Job Readiness & Scheduling

• Confirm job readiness and provide accurate durations, crew, equipment, and access requirements.
• Coordinate with the scheduling team to manage calendar placement.
• Verify materials are received and checked, site conditions are understood, and homeowners are prepared, escalating any changes promptly.

Customer Communication

• Primary contact with homeowner from contract handoff through project completion.
• Establish clear expectations, communicate material or schedule changes proactively, respond to concerns, and follow through on commitments.

Installer Leadership & Supervision

• Direct assigned installers’ daily project work, set clear expectations, visit jobsites daily, and hold crews accountable for workmanship, safety, professionalism, cleanliness, and protecting the customer’s property.
• Coach and develop team members, address performance concerns promptly, document recurring issues, and provide input on hiring, reviews, and corrective action.
• Coordinate subcontractors as needed.

Change Orders & Field Decisions

• Document unforeseen conditions such as rot, framing, sill, flashing, or siding damage with photos.
• Price added work using established company pricing guidelines and obtain signed change orders before added work begins.
• Make routine field decisions within company guidelines.
• Escalate significant cost exposure, scope deviations, and unresolved customer disputes to the Installed Sales Manager.

Quality Control & Closeout

• Inspect completed work, manage punch lists and corrections, identify recurring installation issues, and coordinate preventive improvements.
• Complete project records and close out jobs in Live Edge within three business days of completion so invoicing is not delayed.

Cost & Profitability Management

• Understand estimated labor and material allowances monitoring actual hours and expenses throughout the project.
• Investigate variances, minimize avoidable return trips, downtime, and rework, and communicate risks to project profitability early.

Problem Solving & Coordination

• Resolve shortages, installation challenges, site conditions, and customer concerns in collaboration with sales, scheduling, service, purchasing, delivery, warehouse, and millwork.

Backup Sales Coverage

• Schedule, prioritize, and conduct homeowner appointments, assess conditions, measure, present options, and prepare standard window and door quotes in absence of Installed Sales Manager.
• Refer larger or non-standard quotes for manager review before release.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in residential construction, window and door installation, or installed-sales project management.
• Hands-on knowledge of window and door installation, framing, flashing, and trim with the ability to manage installation of other building products as projects require.
• Experience meeting homeowners, presenting product options, and discussing pricing.
• Strong organization, communication, leadership, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• EPA RRP Lead-Safe certified or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills using email, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), scheduling and project management systems, Agility (POS system) for orders and quotes, Live Edge for project records, and manufacturer window and door quoting software.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Able to climb ladders, lift window and door units, and work in office environment as well as the field environment experiencing all different weather conditions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Andersen, Gerkin, or Sierra Pacific products.
• Working knowledge of quoting or estimating window and door projects
• Background in manufacturer quoting software.
• Familiarity with Agility, Live Edge, or similar lumber and building materials software.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
