JOB SUMMARY
As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our proprietary software. You will devise test cases from requirements, create, maintain, and expand automated regression suites, and support ongoing product development and software releases.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual exploratory testing as needed.
- Design automated tests to validate applications using various test frameworks, including Cypress and Katalon.
- Prioritize test scenarios and create execution plans.
- Implement automation first strategy by maintaining, expanding, and improving existing automated testing framework.
- Analyze bug reports, highlight problems, and deliver regular reports to development stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to triage and identify bugs and develop a comprehensive testing plan.
- Stay informed about new testing tools and strategies to improve efficiency.
- Perform set up and maintenance of test environments and servers to optimize output.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Testing experience or a background in mathematics and automated test development preferred.
- Critical thinking and ability to closely examine the end-user experience within a complex software landscape.
- Ability to synthesize multiple inputs into specific test cases while considering edge cases.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
