REAL ESTATE TRANSACTION COORDINATOR – HAMPTON ROADS
Remote | Independent Contractor | Flexible Schedule | $1,000 Monthly Minimum Guarantee + Transaction-Based Compensation
Your Local Real Estate Virtual Assistants (REVA) is seeking a Real Estate Transaction Coordinator to support real estate agents throughout the Hampton Roads area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with real estate experience who enjoys the organization, paperwork, technology, and behind-the-scenes side of real estate more than prospecting and sales.
This is a remote, independent-contractor position with flexible hours and significant opportunity for increased income as our transaction volume grows.
AUTHENTISIGN EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Hands-on experience using Authentisign is our most important technical requirement. Please do not apply unless you have personally used Authentisign in a real estate environment and are comfortable working in the system.
Applicants should have previous real estate experience and a basic understanding of real estate transactions, documents, and terminology.
You do not need to be an expert in every aspect of transaction management. REVA provides support and guidance regarding our transaction procedures and processes.
A current or former real estate agent, licensed assistant, brokerage administrator, or transaction coordinator who prefers the administrative side of real estate could be an excellent fit.
Dotloop experience is preferred but not required. Training can be provided.
THE RIGHT PERSON WILL BE:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Dependable and responsive
- Comfortable working independently from home
- Familiar with real estate documents and terminology
- Comfortable managing documents, deadlines, and multiple transactions
- Professional when communicating with agents and other parties to a transaction
- Able to manage their own schedule while meeting transaction deadlines
- Available when an occasional time-sensitive transaction matter requires attention outside normal business hours
LOCATION REQUIREMENT
Although the work is remote, you must live in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area.
COMPENSATION
This independent-contractor position provides a guaranteed minimum of $1,000 per month, applied against earned transaction compensation.
For a standard one-side transaction, REVA currently charges $429 and the Transaction Coordinator receives $325 per transaction.
Once earned transaction compensation exceeds the $1,000 monthly minimum, the coordinator receives the higher earned amount.
Examples:
4 transactions = $1,300
6 transactions = $1,950
10 transactions = $3,250
Additional transaction services may generate additional compensation.
REVA anticipates adding additional agents and increasing transaction volume. We are looking for someone interested in developing a long-term working relationship in which income can grow along with the business.
