Position Summary/ Department Summary:
- We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) to join the team within our Operating Room at Needham.
- Planning, organizing, and overseeing daily clinical and administrative operations of Needham Perioperative operations.
- Preparing staff schedules, requests and allocates resources and facilitates coordination of care/services to meet patient care and operations requirements.
- Developing, recommending and implementing internal standards, policies and procedures to improve quality and cost effectiveness of patient care.
- Selecting, supervising and evaluating nursing and clinical support personnel as well as developing and providing staff education/development programs.
- Leading and participating in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees and special projects.
- Working 40 hours per week.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years perioperative nursing experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
- Leadership/Management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing and MA nursing license.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- PALS certification is required within one year of hire if not currently certified.
- CNOR Certification preferred.
