Overview
TripleLift is seeking a data-driven Revenue Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team at the intersection of sales performance, commercial logic, and programmatic marketplace efficiency. In this role, you will partner with commercial leadership to translate complex datasets into actionable strategies that drive growth.
The ideal candidate pairs an ownership mentality with professional skepticism and deep curiosity, looking past surface-level metrics to uncover true pipeline dynamics. You must be fluent in leveraging AI and automation tools to eliminate administrative overhead, optimize workflows, and scale operational velocity.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated performance dashboards utilized across the company from Individual Contributors (ICs) to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Audit and report on pipeline health and GTM activity inputs (e.g., meetings, email velocity, connection rates) within Salesforce to maintain data hygiene and provide recurring performance updates to sales leadership.
- Support the verification process for quarterly and annual variable compensation cycles, reconciling sales credit splits across both direct bookings and Open Exchange (OX) revenue attribution.
- Partner with Global Demand and Partner Management teams to evaluate Agency Holding Company deals by modeling margins, establishing standardized rate cards, and analyzing post-auction discounts and cash rebates to ensure sustainable commercial logic.
- Synthesize large-scale marketplace exchange datasets to deliver weekly business reviews, variance analyses, and pacing models that detect underlying macro revenue shifts.
Requirements
- Experience: 3 years minimum of highly analytical experience operating within programmatic media analytics, AdTech marketplace yield analysis, or revenue/financial operations. Familiarity with AdTech ecosystem measures, acronyms, and programmatic pipelines is strongly preferred.
- Tech Stack: Expert-level mastery of spreadsheet modeling (Advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables, Sheets Queries) and enterprise BI frameworks (Omni, Looker, Tableau). Salesforce experience is a plus
- AI Fluency: Leverage AI architectures and low-code automation to move beyond individual hacks, building scalable, shared workflows for analyses and recurring reporting that reclaim capacity for high-value problem-solving.
Core Characteristics & Attributes:
- Incurably Curious: Digs past surface-level summaries to relentlessly peel back data layers and diagnose the root causes of revenue swings.
- Professionally Skeptical: Maintains a critical eye to catch data anomalies before they reach executives, tactfully challenging underlying business assumptions.
- Actionable Synthesis: Distills massive, complex datasets and abstract industry concepts into crystal-clear executive summaries and highly actionable solutions.
- Self-Directed Priority Champion: Thrives in commercial ambiguity, independently prioritizing high-impact tasks and managing bandwidth effectively to deliver on promises.

Revenue Analyst Jobs in Michigan: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a revenue analyst in Michigan?
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business is the standard starting point for revenue analyst roles in Michigan. The role carries no state-issued license, so hiring decisions rest on education, analytical skills, and relevant certifications. Earning a Certified Management Accountant designation or enrolling in FP&A certification programs strengthens candidacy considerably. Michigan's large automotive and healthcare employers often look for candidates with coursework or internship exposure to financial modeling and revenue forecasting.
Which companies hire revenue analysts in Michigan?
Employers hiring revenue analysts in Michigan right now include RealTruck, TripleLift, and Trinity Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Michigan's concentration of automotive manufacturers, regional hospital systems, and large insurance carriers means demand for revenue analysts remains steady across both corporate headquarters and regional finance centers.
Which Michigan cities have the most revenue analyst jobs?
Livonia, Midland, and Ann Arbor account for the largest share of revenue analyst openings in Michigan. Detroit anchors the market through its dense cluster of automotive headquarters, major insurers, and financial services firms, while Grand Rapids draws openings from fast-growing healthcare systems and West Michigan manufacturers, and Ann Arbor benefits from the University of Michigan's affiliated medical and research operations.
Are there remote revenue analyst jobs in Michigan?
Yes, and more than most fields. Revenue analysis is primarily a desk-based analytical role, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 100% of revenue analyst openings tied to Michigan are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting a broader shift in how finance teams operate. Forecasting, reporting, and data modeling work tends to be the most consistently remote, while roles requiring close collaboration with operations or sales teams more often require some in-office presence.
How can I get hired as a revenue analyst in Michigan with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to financial analyst associate or junior reporting analyst roles at Michigan's large healthcare networks and automotive companies, which regularly bring on recent graduates through rotational finance programs. Ford Motor Company and Spectrum Health, for example, run structured early-career finance programs that include revenue-focused rotations. Candidates without direct experience gain an edge by building Excel and Power BI skills, completing an FP&A fundamentals course, and targeting accounts receivable or billing analyst roles as a lateral entry point before moving into revenue analysis.
Where can I find and apply to revenue analyst jobs in Michigan?
You can find and apply to revenue analyst jobs in Michigan on Migrate Mate, which lists current Michigan openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find roles that match your experience and preferred location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
