Job Purpose
This role provides hands-on learning and professional development opportunities through meaningful project work, operational support, and cross-functional collaboration. You are able to contribute to departmental goals while gaining practical industry experience, developing technical and professional skills, and building an understanding of the organization's business operations, culture, and career pathways. Through active participation in day-to-day activities and special projects, you support team success while preparing for future professional opportunities.
What You'll Do
You’ll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Work alongside your team on implementing Knobelsdorff’s safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in safety education and training to on-site teams.
- Audit project-level safety documentation to ensure KE compliance.
- Conduct job site safety audits and incident investigations.
- Attend “tailgate” meetings to review hazards, daily risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain safety documentation, including reports and statistics.
- Maintain awareness of Federal, State, OSHA, and NFPA regulations. Additional duties as assigned.

- Must be available to travel to job sites across regions.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Management, or related field.
- First Aid/CPR/AED and Fall Protection Competent Person certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Pay Range

Pay Range: $20 - $25/hour
