Sales Development Manager Jobs in Philadelphia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales development manager job in Philadelphia?
Focus your search on Philadelphia's core hiring sectors: SaaS and technology platforms, healthcare technology companies, financial services firms, and professional services providers concentrated in Center City and University City. Candidates with experience managing outbound pipelines, coaching SDR teams, and using tools like Salesforce or Outreach stand out locally. Networking through Philadelphia-area revenue leadership communities and targeting mid-market B2B companies gives you the strongest edge in this market.
Which companies hire sales development managers in Philadelphia?
Philadelphia sales development manager roles are posted by EAB, Shamrock Trading Corporation, and Abbott and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Philadelphia's mix of established insurance and financial firms, growing healthtech companies, and a strong SaaS startup scene means hiring comes from a wide range of employer types across the city.
Are there remote sales development manager jobs in Philadelphia?
Yes, though many sales development manager roles require on-site presence for team coaching, sales floor leadership, and in-person collaboration with account executives. About 100% of sales development manager openings tied to Philadelphia are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with fully remote roles most common at SaaS companies and hybrid arrangements most common among financial services and healthcare technology employers based in Center City.
How can I get a sales development manager job in Philadelphia with little or no experience?
The most realistic path into a Philadelphia sales development manager role is moving up from a senior SDR or team lead position at a local SaaS or healthcare technology company. Philadelphia's growing B2B tech sector regularly promotes high-performing individual contributors into player-coach roles before formal management titles. Targeting companies in University City's life sciences corridor or Center City's fintech cluster, where SDR teams are expanding, gives you the best chance of making that transition locally.
Which industries hire the most sales development managers in Philadelphia?
Philadelphia sales development manager roles concentrate in Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Philadelphia's deep roots in healthcare, insurance, and financial services combined with a growing technology and SaaS ecosystem create sustained demand for sales development leadership across multiple sectors in the city.
