Regional Account Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a regional account manager in Pennsylvania?
Most regional account manager roles in Pennsylvania require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, combined with prior sales or client-facing experience. Pennsylvania does not issue a state license for this role, so employers focus on demonstrated results, industry knowledge, and CRM proficiency. Candidates targeting healthcare or financial services accounts may strengthen their profile by pursuing industry-recognized certifications such as the Certified Sales Professional designation.
How much do regional account managers make in Pennsylvania?
Regional account managers in Pennsylvania earn a median of about $130,610 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $71,500 for the lowest 10% to over $239,470 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire regional account managers in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring regional account managers in Pennsylvania right now include Keurig Dr Pepper, Team Velocity Marketing, and TD, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Pennsylvania's dense concentration of health systems, technology firms, and manufacturing headquarters means demand is spread across multiple industries rather than concentrated in a single sector.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most regional account manager jobs?
Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Harrisburg lead Pennsylvania for regional account manager openings. Philadelphia drives volume through its large corporate headquarters, financial services firms, and health system networks, while Pittsburgh's resurgent tech and healthcare sectors generate consistent demand, and Allentown's industrial and logistics corridor supports strong territory-based account roles throughout the Lehigh Valley.
Are there remote regional account manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and they are fairly common for this role given that account management often centers on phone, video, and email contact rather than daily on-site presence. About 80% of regional account manager openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how frequently employers allow home-based work for the administrative and communication-heavy portions of the job. Client visits and territory travel are still expected in most cases.
How can I get hired as a regional account manager in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting in an inside sales, sales development representative, or customer success role at a Pennsylvania employer, then moving into regional account management after building a record of meeting quotas. Large Pennsylvania-based companies like Comcast Business and PNC regularly hire entry-level sales associates and rotate strong performers into territory roles. A Salesforce certification or a completed business degree from a Pennsylvania institution can help a candidate stand out at the interview stage.
Where can I find and apply to regional account manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to regional account manager jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find roles that match your experience and target territory, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
