As a Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Analyst Senior within PNC's Data, Modeling & Analytics Marketing & Customer Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Wilmington, DE, Tysons Corner, VA or Chicago, IL.Role Overview:
We are seeking a senior analyst to support the marketing campaign process/delivery in Experian Ascend Marketing. This position also supports profitable account growth through process/data analytics across all Retail Lending products (Consumer Card, Business Card, Unsecured Installment Loans, HELOC, and Mortgage).
This senior analyst will work closely with ~10 other team members within Campaign Process Analytics and Delivery team, and partner with PNC partners (Product, Marketing, Decision Science, and 2nd Line of Defense) and vendors (Experian, FICO, email/paper mail shops etc.) to achieve the goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Cards and Lending products audience selection, targeting and performance analysis
- Own analysis and optimization on Experian’s Ascend Marketing platform across all Retail Lending products (Consumer Card, Business Card, Unsecured Installment Loans, HELOC, and Mortgage)
- Partner with all parties (internal and external) to ensure high quality delivery
- Targeting strategy and campaign process flows in internal channels including online banking, mobile, care center and branches across products and different type of offers.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign processes and data flows among FICO, Experian, and PNC platforms
- Analyze flows in internal channels including online banking, mobile, care center and branches across products and different type of offers.
- Support profitable growth through campaign process analysis
- Create campaign performance reports across channels and products
Preferred skills and experience:
- 3+ years in quantitative analytics fields
- Strong proficiency in data tools (SQL, SAS, Python, Tableau, Hadoop or similar) and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Retail Lending products (Credit Card, Personal Loan, HELOC, and Mortgage)
- Demonstrated experience in Retail Lending eligibility criteria, customer selection or marketing analytics
- Proven experience executing campaign audience selection criteria for prescreen and non-prescreen acquisition campaigns
- Excellent communication and results orientation, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.

Job Description
- Provides financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over the financial and regulatory reporting processes. Responsible for running complex business performance, risk and operational analytics. May include the development of analytical methods/models to assess market, credit and/or operational risk of new and existing financial products.
- Leverages business / product expertise to rigorously analyze large datasets, improve risk adjusted returns, deliver profitable growth, and communicate conclusions. Synthesizes analytical results and develops, recommends, and implements business strategies that improve lending decisions, assist in managing risk, increase revenues, reduce exposure to losses, meet business goals, and improve performance. Establishes baselines for strategies and tracks actual performance to expectations.
- Applies predictive models, third party data, and other tools to develop and execute appropriate segmentation and targeting for acquisition and portfolio strategies to provide insight into portfolio risk. Manages engagements with internal and external information suppliers ensuring solution is fit for purpose while maintaining appropriate governance and oversight.
- Works with business, credit, data, and model development partners to design, develop, and monitor test designs and analytical reporting to track and enhance strategies. Designs / enhances standard reporting suites for regular product / portfolio reviews.
- Collaborates with the line of business, Finance, and Risk partners to assess and establish credit risk appetite and to understand its implications, as well as to establish policies and procedures governing the identification, monitoring, and management of risk appetite.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $86,250.00 – $143,750.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.Application Window
