Corporate Sales Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a corporate sales manager in Pennsylvania?
Most corporate sales manager roles in Pennsylvania require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline, followed by several years of quota-carrying sales experience. Pennsylvania does not require a state-issued license for the role itself, but candidates targeting life sciences or financial services sales in the state often strengthen their candidacy with credentials like the Certified Professional Sales Person designation or a FINRA license where applicable. Promotion typically follows a proven record managing accounts or a smaller sales team.
How much do corporate sales managers make in Pennsylvania?
Corporate sales managers in Pennsylvania earn a median of about $130,610 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $71,500 for the lowest 10% to over $239,470 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire corporate sales managers in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring corporate sales managers in Pennsylvania right now include ADP, QVC, and Zerocater, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Pennsylvania's concentration of pharmaceutical, industrial, and technology firms means openings frequently require industry-specific sales backgrounds rather than generalist experience.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most corporate sales manager jobs?
Coraopolis, Home, and Bensalem are the Pennsylvania cities with the most corporate sales manager openings. Philadelphia leads because of its dense cluster of pharmaceutical, financial services, and media headquarters, while Pittsburgh's resurgence in technology, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing has made it a consistent second market, and the Lehigh Valley's logistics and manufacturing base supports additional regional sales leadership demand.
Are there remote corporate sales manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and more than many management roles, since corporate sales managers often work with distributed teams and clients across wide geographies. About 20% of corporate sales manager openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how common virtual client engagement has become. Strategic account management, national accounts, and technology sales tend to offer the most flexibility, while field-heavy industrial or retail-channel roles remain largely on-site.
How can I get hired as a corporate sales manager in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing an account executive, sales development, or territory representative role at a large Pennsylvania employer and earning a promotion from within. Companies like Comcast, Independence Blue Cross, and mid-size Philadelphia-area pharmaceutical distributors run structured sales associate or rotational programs that place candidates without management experience on a defined track to leadership. Building a portfolio of closed deals and earning a sales credential such as a Certified Professional Sales Person designation significantly strengthens a promotion case.
Where can I find and apply to corporate sales manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to corporate sales manager jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings from employers actively hiring. Search the listings, find roles that fit your experience and target industry, and apply directly to the ones that match.
