Corporate Sales Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a corporate sales manager in Florida?
The typical path into a corporate sales manager role in Florida starts with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, followed by several years as an individual contributor in B2B or enterprise sales. Florida does not require a state license for most sales management roles, but employers in regulated industries like insurance, real estate, or financial services may require a Florida-issued license specific to that sector. Building a verifiable record of team leadership and quota attainment is the most consistent factor in advancement.
How much do corporate sales managers make in Florida?
Corporate sales managers in Florida earn a median of about $131,900 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $71,650 for the lowest 10% to over $263,160 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire corporate sales managers in Florida?
Employers hiring corporate sales managers in Florida right now include Sunny Hotel, Crunch Fitness, and Paul Gough Media, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's dense mix of healthcare systems, technology distributors, and financial services firms creates steady demand for this role across multiple industries statewide.
Which Florida cities have the most corporate sales manager jobs?
Florida, Miami, and Ocoee have the most corporate sales manager openings in Florida. Miami's international business community and financial services sector, Tampa's concentration of technology and healthcare headquarters, and Orlando's hospitality, healthcare, and logistics industries each generate consistent demand, while suburban markets like Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale add volume through regional office hubs.
Are there remote corporate sales manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than many management roles, because corporate sales managers often oversee distributed teams and manage accounts across wide territories. About 100% of corporate sales manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the coordination work happens over video and CRM platforms. The portions most likely to stay fully remote are pipeline oversight, forecasting, and national account management, while field-heavy and retail-adjacent roles tend to require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a corporate sales manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a team lead or senior account executive role that carries informal supervisory responsibility before making a formal management leap. Large Florida-based employers like AdventHealth, Roper Technologies, and Tech Data run rotational leadership development programs and promote from within their sales organizations. Pursuing a Florida-relevant industry certification, such as a Florida insurance license for financial services roles or a healthcare sales credential, can accelerate that transition. Adjacent roles like sales operations analyst or account director are common stepping stones into people management.
