Corporate Sales Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a corporate sales manager in Texas?
The most direct path is building several years of individual contributor sales experience in a Texas industry, then moving into a team lead or sales supervisor role before advancing to manager. Texas does not require a state-issued license for corporate sales managers. A bachelor's degree in business or marketing is standard, and employers in sectors like energy and technology often value industry certifications such as Salesforce credentials or solution-selling certifications alongside demonstrated quota achievement.
How much do corporate sales managers make in Texas?
Corporate sales managers in Texas earn a median of about $136,020 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $68,750 for the lowest 10% to over $268,450 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire corporate sales managers in Texas?
Employers hiring corporate sales managers in Texas right now include CrowdStrike, INDYCAR, and Rippling, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, energy companies, and enterprise technology firms means corporate sales manager roles appear consistently across a wide range of established organizations.
Which Texas cities have the most corporate sales manager jobs?
Houston, Dallas, and Texas have the most corporate sales manager openings in Texas. Houston's energy and industrial sectors drive heavy demand there, while Dallas anchors corporate headquarters for financial services and technology firms, and Austin's fast-growing SaaS and enterprise tech scene adds a strong layer of B2B sales leadership hiring.
Are there remote corporate sales manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than many management roles, since corporate sales managers often lead geographically distributed teams and manage accounts across regions. About 38% of corporate sales manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the role's reliance on calls, video, and CRM over physical presence. Strategic account oversight and sales operations planning are the functions most commonly performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a corporate sales manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a business development representative or inside sales role at a mid-size or enterprise Texas company, then growing into a team lead position within a year or two. Large Texas employers in energy and enterprise technology regularly run associate sales programs for recent graduates. Building a portfolio of consistent quota attainment, even in a junior role, and earning a relevant certification such as a Salesforce credential strengthens a promotion case significantly.
Where can I find and apply to corporate sales manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to corporate sales manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across industries and metro areas. Find the roles that fit your experience and apply directly without needing to create a profile or sign up.
