Growth Marketing Specialist Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a growth marketing specialist in Texas?
Growth marketing specialist roles in Texas do not require a state-issued license, so the path starts with a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Texas employers consistently prioritize hands-on experience with paid channels, analytics platforms, and lifecycle campaigns over credentials alone. Building a portfolio of measurable results, earning platform certifications from Google or Meta, and gaining experience through agency or in-house marketing roles are the most effective steps toward landing a full specialist position.
How much do growth marketing specialists make in Texas?
Growth marketing specialists in Texas earn a median of about $72,520 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $37,640 for the lowest 10% to over $135,710 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire growth marketing specialists in Texas?
Employers hiring growth marketing specialists in Texas right now include Copart, Dal-Tile, and 7-Eleven, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of technology companies in Austin, corporate headquarters in Dallas, and energy and logistics firms in Houston creates a broad mix of industries actively seeking this role.
Which Texas cities have the most growth marketing specialist jobs?
Dallas, Austin, and Houston have the most growth marketing specialist openings in Texas. Austin's dense technology and SaaS startup ecosystem drives the largest share of listings, while Dallas attracts demand from corporate headquarters and financial services firms, and Houston's growing retail, energy, and healthcare sectors generate steady openings for specialists with performance and retention marketing backgrounds.
Are there remote growth marketing specialist jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. Growth marketing is largely an analytical and digital role, making it well suited to remote work. About 27% of growth marketing specialist openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how broadly distributed the talent pool is. Performance marketing, email lifecycle, and SEO-focused roles are the most likely to be fully remote or offer flexible arrangements.
How can I get hired as a growth marketing specialist in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting in a coordinator or associate marketing role at a Texas-based agency or mid-size brand, then specializing from there. Large Texas employers like Dell, American Airlines, and H-E-B run structured marketing rotational or associate programs that bring in candidates without direct specialist experience. Lateral moves from adjacent roles in content marketing, marketing operations, or sales development are common entry points, and a portfolio documenting campaign results or a Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certification gives candidates a concrete edge with hiring teams.
Where can I find and apply to growth marketing specialist jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to growth marketing specialist jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers actively hiring across the state. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly through each listing.
