Social Media & Content Associate
Kumori is a fast-growing men’s apparel brand that has grown more than 500% year over year, and we’re looking for someone to join our team and help us create great social content.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is creative, understands social media, and wants to learn a ton. We’re still a small team, so you’ll get exposure to a lot more than you would in a typical entry-level marketing role.
You’ll work on social media content, ads, influencer content, be part of professional photo and video shoots, and the ecommerce side of marketing. You’ll get to work closely with our founder and our new VP of Marketing, who has helped scale both eight-figure and nine-figure brands. For someone early in their career, it’s a rare chance to learn how a fast-growing ecommerce brand is actually built while getting real responsibility from day one.
What you’ll do
- Come up with ideas for Reels, TikToks, ads, and other social content
- Edit videos in CapCut
- Create ads and graphics in Canva, Claude Design, and other tools
- Write hooks, captions, scripts, and ad concepts
- Help plan and coordinate professional photo and video shoots
- Work with photographers, models, creators, and influencers
- Find interesting ways to turn raw footage into content people actually want to watch
- Learn how creative and social media tie into ecommerce and paid advertising
What we’re looking for
The biggest thing is that you understand good content.
We want someone who can recognize why a video works, come up with ideas on their own, and take initiative instead of waiting to be told exactly what to do.
You should be creative, organized, dependable, a good learner, and a strong critical thinker.
Experience creating social media content is preferred. Experience making ads is a bonus.
You do not need to already know every tool we use. We care much more about whether you can learn quickly and make good work.
Why Kumori
You’ll get to work on real projects immediately and see a lot of different sides of building a fast-growing brand.
You might be helping plan a shoot one day, working with an influencer the next, and then turning that content into an ad that gets shown to thousands of people.
There is also a lot of room to grow with the company. We’re expanding quickly and are potentially moving into women’s apparel in the near future.
20–30 hours per week. But this can quickly turn into full time.We prefer someone who can work from the office at least twice a week.
How to apply
Do not send me your resume. I don’t care where you went to school.
Send me 2–5 sentences about why you think you’d be good at this role, along with links to videos, ads, projects, or social media accounts you’ve worked on.
Personal projects count.
I want to see what you’ve made and how you think.
Pay: $25.24 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Boca Raton, FL 33432

Social media manager is not a licensed profession in Florida, so there is no state board or exam required to work in the role. Most Florida employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, along with a portfolio demonstrating real account management. Certifications from Meta Blueprint or HubSpot Academy are widely recognized by Florida employers and can substitute for formal education at smaller companies.
How much do social media managers make in Florida?
Social media managers in Florida earn a median of about $75,450 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $38,830 for the lowest 10% to over $130,570 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire social media managers in Florida?
Employers hiring social media managers in Florida right now include TP, Florida International University, and Gleim, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of tourism, hospitality, and consumer lifestyle brands means demand is especially consistent among hotel groups, cruise lines, and regional retail chains headquartered in the state.
Which Florida cities have the most social media manager jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Orlando are the Florida cities with the most social media manager openings, driven by the concentration of major corporate headquarters, tourism brands, and media companies that require dedicated social teams. Miami's large base of lifestyle and entertainment brands, Orlando's hospitality and theme-park industry, and Tampa's growing tech and healthcare sectors each sustain steady hiring in this role.
Are there remote social media manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields. Social media management is inherently digital and desk-based, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 32% of social media manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly employers have adopted flexible work for this role. Content strategy, scheduling, and analytics work are the functions most frequently performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a social media manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an internship or coordinator role at a Florida agency, where you can build a real portfolio under supervision. Large Florida employers like AdventHealth and Disney regularly post entry-level social media coordinator or digital marketing assistant positions that lead to full manager roles. Building accounts for local nonprofits or small businesses, then earning a Meta Blueprint or Google Digital Marketing certificate, gives candidates a concrete edge when applying to these programs.
